Tiber Boats Srl is a new boat-building company, registered in Poggio Mirteto (Rieti) taking its name from the Tiber River which flows close-bye to its location and  then meanders down river through the ancient city of Rome to reach the Mediterranean Sea at Ostia/Fiumicino.

 

lArchitect Ico Conforzi, Tiber Boats’ creative mind and president, has been designing yachts for the past thirty years for many of the major yacht building companies in Italy and abroad. He also designed and built small 30’ sportfishermans and cruisers under the registered trade-mark brand of Kingfisher Yachts.

 

lThe love for nature and his passion for boating blended to convince Conforzi to undertake this new challenge and establish the new boat yard in the beautiful countryside of the lower valley of the Tiber river north of Rome,  where vessels of up to 40’ are built. The  production of a new line of rigid inflatable boats has started under the trademark brand name of Italribs – Italian inflatable boats.

 

lIt should be highlighted, that Tiber Boats Srl is located in the area of the Bassa Sabina where the Region is promoting the Integrated Development Scheme of the Tiber Valley which  concerns tourism and SME production expansion as also the VA.TE. Project for the navigation of the river between Poggio Mirteto and Magliano Sabino.

 

lTiber Boats will also benefit from the Lazio Nautical Industrial District in which it will be fully integrated.
